With 206 countries participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics, there’s no question that the global interest in the games is bigger than ever. And with Australia’s multicultural population growing, it only makes sense that streamed coverage of the Olympics is diversified and accessible to different communities.

In Australia, Channel 9 and Stan have the TV and streaming rights to the Olympics. This year Stan has eight exclusive international multi-language channels available for viewers to stream – one of which features curated official coverage from India via Viacom18.

This means that viewers based in Australia who are interested in watching English-language commentary and coverage that particularly focuses on Indian athletes and their performance can tune in for ad-free, live and on demand content.

In partnership with Indian media company, Viacom18, the Indian channel’s coverage will showcase commentary from the likes of Sakshi Malik, Sania Mirza, Viren Rasquinha, Vijender Singh, Somdev Devvarman, Murali Sreeshankar and Parupalli Kashyap.

Meanwhile Stan’s other international multi-language channels will feature curated official coverage from the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Greece and Italy (Eurosport), and New Zealand (Sky New Zealand).
