Lilly Singh is about to make history as the first bisexual woman of colour to host a late night show

There's only two weeks left till Lilly Singh makes history when her new late night show, A Little Late with Lilly Singh, kicks off on September 16.

The 30-year-old Canadian entertainer, known to many thanks to her YouTube fame as iiSuperwomanii, will be the first openly bisexual woman of colour to host a US late night show, ever!

While Lilly has been teasing fans for months ahead of her exciting project, it's only now her show's official social channels have dropped.

From behind-the-scenes snaps to her glowing shoot on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter and even an opportunity to be part of the live studio audience, there's been enough content already to create an appreciation board dedicated to the upcoming NBC show.

In her interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lilly revealed she was initially not interested in taking up the late night show hosting gig when approached by NBC.

"The doubt wasn't whether this was exciting for me, it was whether this was a puzzle piece that would fit well in my existing life," she told the publication.

"I didn't want to sign up for it and then be like, 'I can only make a little time for it'... I'm very much all or nothing."

Later she took to Instagram to admit she's "nervous" for her big debut that will throw her amongst the ranks of Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers.

"There’s officially less than a month until the premiere of A Little Late with Lilly Singh and I’m feeling all of the emotions," she wrote.

To answer the most commonly asked question, of course I’m nervous. Being nervous means you care. But I’m also very excited to bring a fresh perspective to late night.

"Beyond being from the internet, being a woman of colour, being bisexual, being Canadian or being a dog mom... I’m a story teller. On September 16th, I get to tell stories in a different way on @nbc. Same Lilly. Different platform. Hope to see you there."

Lilly, you'll definitely see us there!
