Bollywood comes to Madame Tussauds Sydney

Aussies don't even have to book a trip to India to get the Bollywood treatment, as some of the country's biggest movie stars are on Sydney harbour's doorstep thanks to Madame Tussauds.

The famous wax museum has introduced its new 'Lights, Camera, Bollywood' experience, which allows guests to pose with the likes of Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Shah Rukh Khan.

What's more, you can step onto the set of famous Bollywood movies and channel your inner film star - Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, anyone?

You can also get the movie makeover by putting on a traditional outfit and then dance and snap away.

While other Madame Tussauds venues across the globe have already featured Bollywood stars, Australia has been a bit behind the game until now.

"We regularly ask our guests which interactive experiences they would like to see at Madame Tussauds and which of their favourite celebrities they would like to see featured. Bollywood is regularly requested – by locals, international visitors from India and from guests from around the world," says Mark Connolly, General Manager at Madame Tussauds Sydney.

"We knew it was time to bring Bollywood to Sydney. Bollywood is the world’s largest and most vibrant film industry and Lights, Camera, Bollywood at Madame Tussauds brings that electricity to the attraction."

If you're looking for something to do this upcoming Easter weekend, why not grab your camera and head on over. More details here.
